DAY 3 - 2 JULY Malahide Castle, Christ Church and a workshop with Meav!

Everyone feels much better after a good sleep! We left early for a great trip to Malahide Castle. We are having fantastic weather, including a brilliantly sunny day - woohoo! After a quick rehearsal and lunch on the lawn, the IRELAND 2010 Tour Team gave a lovely performance in Christ Church for over 65 audience members. Brianne, who was sitting near Sue and Bill on "stage", was watching the audience's reaction to the beautiful singing. Many visitors (including a group of students) heard music, then realized that it was LIVE and sat down to listen. Afterwards, the Tour Team had a wonderful workshop and master class with Méav Ní Mhaolchatha (aunt of Tour Team member Emma and former member of Celtic Woman and Anuna). Then, off for shopping on Grafton Street in small chaperone groups, a brief rain, and an up close visit with the Molly Malone statue. We shared our favorite moments at dinner and started downloading Singers' photos of their last 2 days. We are off to a personal meeting with the Lord Mayor of Belfast tomorrow and a tour of Belfast City - time to find a few pounds sterling!
